Throwback to 2008 to 2024: My Young Americans series has become part of Atlanta’s cultural legacy and is still sparking conversations today! I am honored to be featured in Elevate Atlanta's public installation at the iconic Steele Bridge, celebrating 50 years of art and culture alongside 35 talented artists from the City of Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs permanent collection. The installation has been extended to 2025.
Here's to the power of timeless art!

The Steele Bridge honors the incredible legacy of Carrie Steele Logan (1829-1900), who was born into slavery and became a trailblazer by purchasing land and founding the nation’s oldest Black orphanage.

It is incredible to see how the "Young American" series from 2008 remains so profoundly relevant and amplified in today's social climate. Your ability to capture the intersection of identity and patriotism through such a powerful visual lens is truly moving and offers a much-needed perspective on the diverse voices that shape our country. Art like this serves as an essential archive of our collective journey. For those inspired by these themes of identity and seeking to explore more narratives that challenge and expand our worldview, discovering a thoughtful Book series or finding new Books to read can be a great way to continue that reflection. This is a powerful look back at the Young American series. It is fascinating to see how a vision from 2008 remains so amplified and relevant in today's cultural landscape. The way the series captures the intersection of identity and patriotism is truly thought-provoking.
In the spirit of amplifying voices and supporting community growth, I often share resources like this free business listing for black owned business. Much like this art series highlights the diverse faces of our country, a Business directory submission for black owned business helps ensure that diverse entrepreneurs are seen and supported.
It is incredible to see how the 'Young American' series continues to resonate and spark important conversations today. Just as your work captures the complexity and identity of a generation, maintaining personal wellness is its own form of self-expression. Focusing on scalp care and incorporating a High Frequency Facial are such powerful ways to nurture that inner and outer confidence. Thank you for sharing this powerful look back at your legacy!
Can’t get over how chic these playsuits look! Deepika Arora always delivers.
This content is inspiring and heartwarming, similar to the way Goodbye Cards from theecards.com carry emotions across any distance.
