My photography journey began in the 90s. Self-taught. Driven by curiosity about people.

Now, as America marks 250 years, my series Invisible Empire, Suburbia, Young Americans, #1960Now and Plastic Bodies come together across 16 group exhibitions nationwide.

The land. The flag. The streets. The body. The spaces we call home.

Different series but one body of work.

Growing up in Germany and experiencing cultures beyond the United States shaped my artistic vision and the way I see the world.

My camera became my way of experiencing the culture, what we remember and who we are as a nation.

The vision keeps evolving.  The conversation continues.
