Reclaiming My Time exhibition opened May 31 through the year 2025 at the Smithosonian National Museum of African Histroy and Culture featuring my Suburbia series.
This is the musuem's first exhibition devoted to contemporary Black designers featring work by contemporary Black designers that engage ideas about cultural heritage, bodies at rest and histories of labor curated by Michelle Joan Wilkinson
My brother and I spent some time touring Modena Reserve while researching senior communities. We appreciated the welcoming atmosphere and the genuine conversations we had with staff members. Residents appeared comfortable, and the shared spaces encouraged social interaction. It left us with a positive impression of the community overall.
