Her photographs have been published in a number of books and publications, including Reflections in Black: A History of African American Photographers (WW Norton, 2001) and, most recently, Black: A Celebration of a Culture (Hylas Publishing, 2004).
Currently a studio artist at The Atlanta Contemporary Art Center, she was awarded the En Foco New Works Photography Award in 1999, and the National Bronica Award in 2001. A National Graduate Seminar Fellow at the Photography Institute in 2002 at Columbia University in New York, Pree Bright received her MFA in photography from Georgia State University in 2003.
